Rivoluzione della Terra – Genetliaco

Oltre 936 milioni di chilometri percorsi attorno al Sole in 365 giorni, un viaggio chiamato rivoluzione della Terra. Mentre siamo sospesi nello spazio lungo questi chilometri spesso, da un anno all’altro e su questa Terra, si perdono persone e luoghi, sogni ed emozioni, tutte cose che molte volte non si ritrovano più.

In fondo spesso si è sospesi anche in questa vita terrestre.

Un sentiero lunghissimo, il mio, dove anno dopo anno ho perso anche pezzi di me stesso, convinzioni che non ho più o speranze che ho sepolto lungo il percorso.

Ho imparato a osservare lungo tutti questi giri attorno al Sole, in particolare la natura. Da essa ho imparato molte cose, come per esempio un insegnamento dagli alberi. Ogni anno perdono le foglie diventano spogli, eppure i loro rami rimangono protesi verso il cielo fino a quando nuove foglie rispunteranno. Questo perché hanno radici profonde piantate nel terreno.

Così ho imparato che i sogni devono sempre essere protesi verso il cielo, hanno bisogno di spazio, ma i piedi devono necessariamente rimanere piantati a terra.

Lungo la strada si lasciano delle persone, a volte per proteggersi a volte con grande dolore, ma si viene anche lasciati e questo può far male, ci si può sentire abbandonati. Io ho sofferto molto per un abbandono.

Credo che una cosa sia molto importante nonostante questi addii, la capacità di trovare sempre se stessi. Io mi sto ritrovando pezzo dopo pezzo dopo anni d’oblio, di incoscienza dove ho passato più tempo ad accontentare gli altri, perdendo sempre più me stesso. Ma lungo la strada in un anno ho trovato nuove persone, nuove anime e nuove emozioni.

Oggi mi guardo allo specchio, mi vedo invecchiato comprendo che il corpo che mi ospita cede ogni anno. Eppure non riesco a capacitarmi di come spiritualmente io mi senta senza un’età definita. Questo mi spaventa a volte. Temo il giorno in cui mi accorgerò di essere davvero invecchiato, tutto d’un colpo.

La mia mente si sta aprendo sempre di più, incredibile, la mia anima è più permeabile. Scrivo pubblicamente queste mie sensazioni senza vergogna, sapendo che molti sorrideranno sarcasticamente vedendo in me uno che si umilia pubblicamente, uno che si ridicolizza e dovrebbe vergognarsi.

Io dei miei sentimenti non mi vergogno e ne parlo liberamente. Almeno oggi consentitemelo, in questo giorno dove riceverò gli auguri dei miei figli e con molta probabilità, per la prima volta, non quelli di mia madre. Che si sta dimenticando tutto, senza colpe.

Oggi, tanti anni fa, vide la luce un sognatore che voleva fare grandi cose. Di quel sognatore una parte resiste ancora in qualche meandro della mia difficile mente.

Per aspera ad astra, che la buona sorte si decida ad accompagnarmi un po’ più spesso in questo nuova rivoluzione terrestre.

Finestre a Torino

Il 24, 25, 26 e 27 ottobre alle 21 presso la Casa Circondariale di Torino è da non perdere Finestre, lo spettacolo del laboratorio teatrale annuale realizzato con la partecipazione dei detenuti e delle detenute. La serata, a partecipazione gratuita, sarà un viaggio nell’annichilimento della condizione carceraria, vissuta con disperazione, che è contrapposta alla speranza, emozione che nasce con il tempo e che si nutre dello scambio tra persone e,  nel caso del carcere, tra chi sta fuori e chi invece è dietro le sbarre. Finestre, diretto dal regista Claudio Montagna, è il risultato di un progetto condotto a Torino dalla Compagnia Teatro e Società, con la Scuola sui Mestieri del Teatro nell’ambito del progetto Per Aspera Ad Astra, come riconfigurare il carcere attraverso la cultura e la bellezza, con il coordinamento di ACRI e sostenuto dalla Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo. Il laboratorio è stato realizzato con il sostegno organizzativo e la collaborazione del Primo Liceo Artistico di Torino, dell’IPIA Plana – Casa Circondariale di Torino, dell’IIS Giulio e del Teatro Stabile di Torino-Teatro Nazionale. Il progetto permanente di laboratorio teatrale è stata promosso dalla Direzione della Casa Circondariale Lorusso e Cutugno ed è stato sostenuto dal 1993 dall'Assessorato alla Cultura della Città di Torino. Da sempre diretto da Claudio Montagna, con la conduzione dei laboratori teatrali di Franco Carapelle di Teatro e Società, oggi il gruppo è sostenuto dalla Compagnia di San Paolo,  curando regolari attività di laboratorio con i detenuti e culmina con eventi teatrali aperti al pubblico, finalizzati all'incontro tra detenuti e società civile. Dal 2013 la collaborazione con il Dipartimento di Giurisprudenza dell’Università di Torino - Cattedra di Sociologia del Diritto del prof. Claudio Sarzotti, ha dato il via al laboratorio con gli studenti iscritti al primo anno. Nel 2018-2019, nell'ambito del progetto è stato proposto l'evento teatrale Il re di zucchero. Il progetto è proseguito nel biennio 2020-2021 con la realizzazione dell'evento Sette lettere più una, nel 2022 con lo spettacolo Trolley e nel 2023 con lo spettacolo Finestre, sempre presso il teatro della Casa Circondariale di Torino. ad astra per aspera is pretty interesting, watch out for the report about the ED-K Lethe event about dogs though, it's got some animal violence in there

On guard 43 has some gay people, but also mentions of institutional homo and transphobia, for example in "the good work", what i did read from it was pretty good though.

I went on a run last night and thought about Gus. These photos from 1961 are some of my favorites. He ran to stay fit, along Florida beaches and through Texas suburbs. I ran hard and fast until my heart pounded and my lungs burned and then I ran some more. That’s when I feel most alive—gasping to catch my breath, strong, satisfied.

I think about how many of those breaths Gus took in his all-too-short life, free and deep, arms and legs shaking, sweaty, aware of his entire body, that big grin on his face, exhausted, energized, fully alive. That’s the way he approached everything. He lived every moment fully and he lived well.

Gus and Ed and Roger died together 56 years ago on January 27, 1967—a Friday evening, just like tonight. I’ve thought about those seconds and the pain of losing them endlessly. But I’ll always remember them brilliantly, inspiringly alive. Whether it’s the air in my lungs or the sun and wind on my face, I know they once felt this, too. They were here.

I love you boys. You saved lives with your sacrifice and you’re the reason I am who I am. Ad astra per aspera ❤️
